Welcome to the Apishapa Valley Historical Society!

In the fall of 2003, the Aguilar Historic Preservation Committee developed a plan for preserving the history of the Town of Aguilar, Colorado and the Apishapa Valley area. That plan involved the formation of the Apishapa Valley Historical Society, I 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to running our local heritage center as well as protecting and sharing our local history.
